Near Pristine copy of the scarce Second State of the First Edition, First Printing in a pristine original dust jacket. Number line of 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 , J.K. Rowling listed on the copyright page. The book is unread with a tight binding and clean pages, without names or inscriptions and even with only very minor browning of pages. The boards are clean with sharp spine ends and cornertips. Pristine first edition dust jacket without any wear and with vibrant colors.
The first print run consisted of 5,150 copies only (Errington: 187), divided into two states. By common opinion the second state is a bit less rare than the first state, although according to Errington the difference in printed copies must be minimal: 2,500 versus 2,650 copies.
A highly collectible copy in a fine condition, housed in a custom made acid-free storage box with inlaid image, lined with moleskine inside.
