A private viewing at Winters Rare Books offers a unique opportunity to explore the largest collection of rare and signed Harry Potter books on the European mainland.

The gallery is located in the historic period room of the House with the Nine Heads (Huis met de 9 koppen, 1611) in the centre of Oudewater, the Netherlands. Visitors are welcomed into an intimate and carefully curated setting, where each book is presented with attention to authenticity, provenance, and historical context.

During your visit, you will receive personal guidance from owner Jan Maliepaard and have the opportunity to view selected highlights from the collection in a quiet and relaxed environment. To preserve the intimate character of the gallery, each private viewing is limited to a maximum of 4 persons.

The gallery also features:

an exhibition dedicated to the renowned Dutch children’s author Chris van Abkoude (1880–1960), best known for Pietje Bell and Kruimeltje, including unique signed books, personal items and rare archival material
paintings and etchings by famous Dutch artists and illustrators such as Jan Sluijters, Jan Rinke, Johan Braakensiek, and Pol Dom.
