The fifth printing was published only a few months after the first printing, in a comparably limited print run. The front cover is identical to that of the first printing. Only the first five paperback printings and the first two hardback printings feature the Wendy Cooling quote on the cover.
The cover is in near fine condition, with bright colours and hardly any fading to the spine, and only an unobtrusive crease to the upper rear cover. The spine ends are sharp; the cornertips are slightly pushed. The book shows hardly any shelf wear and does not suffer from the common issue of the laminate lifting. The first few pages show very slight waviness, but the binding remains excellent. The pages are clean, without names, inscriptions, or dog-ears and show only minor, usual toning.
