Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire First UK Bloomsbury edition, first printing — signed

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire First UK Bloomsbury edition, first printing — signed

First UK Bloomsbury edition, first printing of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, signed by J.K. Rowling on the half-title page.

Almost all known signed copies of this title were signed during Rowling’s nationwide steam train signing tour in the summer of 2000 and bear her signature on the dedication page. Copies signed on the half-title page are genuinely rare and are typically associated with private signings, charitable donations, or special circumstances outside the mass signing events.

This particular copy was signed on 14 September 2000 and donated by J.K. Rowling for a fundraising event benefiting the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust. The previous owner stored it in a cupboard for over twenty years, completely undisturbed and shielded from light.

The book is accompanied by a copy of a letter from Fiddy Henderson, J.K. Rowling’s personal assistant and the original letter dated 2 October 2000, addressed to the previous owner who won this specific copy

A near pristine copy with a very minor bump to the lower spine end. Otherwise in exceptionally fine, unread condition, with bright, clean pages free from the usual browning to the page edges. Housed in a fine first-state dust jacket. The book is presented in a custom-made half-leather clamshell box, offering both protection and an elegant presentation.

Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity (LoA) from Adam Houston (TheHarryPotterSpecialist) — the world’s sole expert on J.K. Rowling’s signature — along with an informative collector’s card.
