Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – signed with Canadian ephemera
First UK Bloomsbury edition, first printing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, signed by J.K. Rowling on 23 October 2007 at the Winter Garden Theatre in Toronto. The book is signed in black ink on the half-title page and bears the official J.K. Rowling authentication hologram affixed to the signed page. Included with this copy are the original event programme and a Deathly Hallows promotional door hanger specially produced for this occasion.
The hologram, featuring Rowling's printed name, succeeded the smaller authentication hologram introduced at the London launch on 21 July 2007. For the Toronto event, UK first editions were fitted with Canadian Raincoast dust jackets, creating a distinctive issue available only to attendees.
The book, dust jacket, and accompanying ephemera are all in near-pristine condition, with virtually no signs of handling or wear.
The signature has been fully authenticated by J.K. Rowling signature expert Adam Houston of The Harry Potter Specialist. Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity.
Housed in a custom-made, exquisitely crafted half-leather clamshell box, providing both elegant presentation and long-term archival protection.
