The book was signed by the author with a black felt pen on the title page during her second American book tour in October 1999. The spine ends and front corners are slightly bumped; otherwise, the book is in fine condition, with a near fine dust jacket. First editions signed in the year of publication are highly sought after and therefore scarce.
Included is the all-important Letter of Authenticity (LOA) from the world’s only J.K. Rowling signature expert, Adam Houston of TheHarryPotterSpecialist, along with a collector’s card containing interesting details.
The book is housed in a beautiful, custom-made half-leather clamshell box.
