Because there are no hardback sixth and seventh prints, the 9th print is actually the seventh, with a very small printrun, which mistakenly contains the original text of the first edition, including the misprint on page 53 ( ‘1 Wand' twice). This misprint was corrected after the first print and for unknown reasons is again present in only the 8th and 9th UK Bloomsbury Hardback printings. Also unusual is that the dust jackets of the ninth printing lack the £10.99 price on the inner flap.
The book is in a finecondition. Spine ends and corners are sharp. End papers clean, inside without marks, inscriptions, or stamps. Firm binding, book seems unread. Pages are very bright, without the usual browning The Dust Jacket is also fine with vibrant colors and without any wear. An excellent copy.
