This proof copy features a cover distinct from the final published version. A white diagonal banner on the front cover displays the text ‘VERSCHIJNT 17 OKTOBER ongecorrigeerd leesexemplaar’ (“RELEASES OCTOBER 17 uncorrected reading copy”). The back cover is missing Rowling's photo and the barcode with ISBN details. Publisher contact information is printed at the bottom of the back cover, which is absent in the final version.
